Refunds

If Whispy is not right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first purchase and you get a full refund, no questions asked. This applies to every plan: monthly, annual, and lifetime. After those 30 days, payments, including subscription renewals, are not refundable.

A refunded license key stops working. Whispy then goes back to its trial rules on your Macs.

Lifetime licenses

A lifetime license is a one-time purchase. It includes all future updates to Whispy for the operational life of the product. There are no carve-outs: no paid upgrades and no premium tier held back from lifetime licenses. “Lifetime” means the operational life of the product.

Subscriptions

Monthly and annual subscriptions include every update while the subscription is active. Cancel or change your card any time in the customer portal. After you cancel, Whispy keeps working to the end of the period you paid for.

Whispy confirms a subscription online in the background. Dictation keeps working offline for 7 days after the last successful confirmation. After that, new dictation pauses until a check succeeds. When a subscription ends or is refunded, new dictation stops 7 days after its last successful confirmation. An active lifetime license has no such limit.

Licenses and Macs

A license is for one person on up to two Macs. To move it to another Mac, release a Mac in Whispy’s License settings or in the customer portal. Activation needs no account.

Trial

The trial allows 5,000 transcribed words with every feature. It needs no card, account, or email, and nothing is charged when it ends. At the end of the trial, new dictation stops until you buy a license. Your settings, models, and Vocabulary stay.

Payments

Polar is the merchant of record for Whispy purchases. It handles checkout, tax, receipts, and your customer portal, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
